The Dry Installed Robot Pumps Slurry pump type BD6040 is designed for the continuous transport of highly abrasive solids. Natural low wear is experienced in vortex pumps and also wear is further reduced by using NI Hard 4 for all the hydraulic components. This heavy duty BD6040 model is perfect for slurry applications by ready mix concrete factories, bentonite, construction industry, cement or drilling and grinding dust. The recessed Ni-Hard 4 vortex impeller leaves a wide unobstructed passage through the volute in which a strong vortex is created that carries most of the abrasives and fibrous materials. For each application the correct speed and motor size can be selected between IEC160 up to IEC225. It is also possible to deliver the pump with an optional seal flushing.
